About TankHaven

TankHaven helps you plan a planted aquarium before you spend money: lay out the scape to scale, check that your animals and plants can share the same water, and work through setup and the nitrogen cycle.

How the checks work

The temperature and pH checks look for a range every species in the tank can share. Stocking level is a rough guide based on adult size and how much waste each species produces; filtration, plant mass and maintenance all change what a tank can really hold. Care ranges come from common hobby guidance and vary with the source and the fish's origin, so ask your supplier and watch your own tank.

Your data

Builds are stored in your browser only. We don't have accounts yet, so clearing site data deletes your builds. Share links contain the layout itself, so anyone with the link can see it. See the privacy page for details.
