TankHaven has no accounts and no server that stores your data. This page lists everything the site keeps and everything it sends anywhere.

What stays in your browser

The site uses your browser's local storage, which never leaves your device:

• Your builds: tank sizes, layouts, animals, gear checklists, water tests and notes.
• The last build you opened, so the species guide knows where "Add to build" should go.

Clearing your browser's site data deletes all of it. Use Download backup on the My builds page to keep a copy as a file.

What leaves your browser

• Share links. A share link contains the layout, tank and animals of that build, so anyone with the link can see them. It does not include your notes, gear checklist, setup progress or water tests.
• Shop links. Clicking a Shop link takes you to Amazon. Amazon may set its own cookies to credit the referral, and its privacy policy applies from then on. We don't learn what you buy.
• Hosting. The company that hosts the site receives the standard request details any website gets, such as your IP address and browser type, as part of delivering the pages.

The contact form

If you send a message, it contains what you type and, only if you give it, your email address. It is forwarded to me by email through a form service and used only to read and reply to your message.

Cookies and tracking

TankHaven sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking scripts. Fonts are served from this site, not from a third party.

We count page views with Umami, which sets no cookies, stores no personal data and does not follow you between sites. We see totals — which pages are visited, and which buttons and links get clicked (for example shop links, “Use this layout” or a link to another site) — not who you are. Build ids, notes and anything you type are never sent.
